CREW HELPERS NEEDED

We are looking for Crew help with  backstage/technical team: 6–10 volunteers 

1. Assistant Stage Manager

2. Light Board Operator

3. Sound Board Operator

4. Projection Operator

5. Costumer / Wardrobe Lead

6. Puppeteer

7. Props / Deck Crew

8. Quick Change Assistant

9. Additional Puppeteer or Deck Crew member

Front of House: 3–4 Volunteers will not need to audition we will contact you.

CASTING the following: 

• Odysseus

  (Adult | Stage Age: 30s–50s)
  Our heroic, battle-weary captain trying desperately to return home to Ithaca. Requires a commanding dramatic presence, great physical stamina, and a strong emotional range to carry the dramatic finale.

• Penelope

  (Adult | Stage Age: 30s–50s)
  Queen of Ithaca and Odysseus's wife. Strong, dignified, and fiercely intelligent.

• Telemachus

  (Teen | Stage Age: 15–19)
  Odysseus’s son. A passionate young man growing up in his father's shadow. He has an exceptional growth arc, transitioning from an awkward youth to a brave warrior fighting alongside his father.

• Athena (Teen to Adult | Open Age)
  Goddess of Wisdom and Odysseus's divine protector. Functions as a highly theatrical narrator and guide who seamlessly commands the stage and manipulates the mortal world.

• The Gods

  (Athena, Circe)  (Adults | teens 13+)
  The heavyweights of Mount Olympus. Larger-than-life, eccentric, and commanding roles that control the weather, the sea, and the ultimate fates of the mortal travelers. And the sorcery of Circe.

• Antinous ( Adults | teens 13+) A suitor and not so nice guy to Odysseus son.

The Mythic Ensemble 

(Cyclops, Scylla, Sailors, Suitors) 

 ( Adults, Teens & Younger Actors 10+)

The physical and vocal engine of the production. Actors will collaboratively transform at a breakneck pace to play everything from loyal crew members and rowdy suitors to dynamic physical elements like the Cyclops, and the multi-headed Scylla. (Including Pigs and puppeteers )

ALL MUST COMPLETE THIS FORM BY SEPTEMBER 25 by 8pm.
