About Us

Heather Capece- ACTOR/ DIRECTOR/ ARTIST/ COSTUMER/ SET DESIGNER/ PHOTOGRAPHER/ WATERCOLOR PAINTER/ KNITTER/ WIFE / MOM.

Heather has been directing plays on Martha’s Vineyard since 2000. She enjoys incorporating visuals through shadow puppetry and puppeteering. With a focus on sustainability, she sews costumes by sourcing items from the Dumptic, thrift stores, and upcycling, and hand sewing with added hand stitching. In the shows, she loves to integrate dance and music to bring the show and characters to life. Heather actively involves her students in the creative process, teaching them about all aspects of producing a performance for an audience.
